Jay Harris is coordinating International Asheville as a community service and community building project. Jay is an award-winning international education and global perspectives specialist. For thirty years, he has created programs and resources for universities, schools, communities, private organizations and foundations, and government institutions like the U.S. Department of State and the Agency for International Development. Jay has hosted local, state, and regional events that shine spotlights on international connections and global issues. He has traveled and worked in several countries.
